Vote in the Inky Awards!

The Inky Awards are Australia's only teen choice awards. I have a good history with the old 'inkster. My first book Notes from the Teenage Underground won the inaugural Inky in 2007. I was a judge in 2008 (winner: Town by James Roy ). My second book Everything Beautiful was shortlisted in 2009. (winner: Randa Abdel-Fattah's Where the Streets Had a Name ) Then there were some years where I worried that I might never have another book again. And now it's 2013 and Girl Defective is on the shortlist in dauntingly good company. So if you're young and a reader, have your say!

And here is a photo of Scatty who prefers rocks to books (but we won't hold that against him).
